Clarissa Adams Fletcher has been an educator for more than 25 years. applying innovative techniques to ensure that students recognize how to apply pedagogy to their actual lives. She is a National Board Certified Teacher since 2004 and was recognized by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages as National Language Teacher of the Year in 2011 where her focus emphasized producing global citizens.
Clarissa states that one of the keys to being a global citizen is for students to own their learning experiences, self-advocate, and apply what they learn to their lives. She currently serves as the Department Chair at Dunwoody High School as well as working as an Advanced Placement Instructor and AP Reader (evaluator) for more than nine years and worked as an online teacher for ten years with Georgia Virtual School.
