Jamie Honke

Ralston High School (NB)

Jamie D. Honke is a Spanish teacher from Ralston High School who has been teaching with Comprehension-based Communicative Language teaching since 2015. She has been teaching Spanish since 2009 and received her National Board Certification in Early Adolescent/Young Adult Spanish in 2017. She received the Nebraska International Language Association Teacher of the Year award in 2019, the Outstanding Dual Enrollment Educator award in 2019, and the Spirit of Education Award for the Safe Schools Convening in 2020. Her presentation was voted Best of Nebraska at the 2018-2019 Nebraska International Languages Association Conference
