It's not homework, it's student-selected independent practice! This session shares methods that result in increased exposure to and use of the target language by students. Included are ways to work around limited classroom time, lack of internet access, and lack of interactions with native speakers.
Helping People Understand Each Other and the World Around Them
The National Foreign Language Center (NFLC) is a unit of the University of Maryland. For more than three decades, we have focused on partnerships with educational institutions and organizations, governments agencies, organizations, and individual scholars and policy makers. Our primary means of realizing our mission is through strengthening people’s knowledge of world languages, especially those less commonly taught in the United States.
