Hannah Rae Joseph

Spain Park High School (AL)

Hannah has taught Spanish at Spain Park High School in Hoover, AL for five years. She majored in both psychology and Spanish at the University of Montevallo and earned her Master’s in Education at Samford University. She has been the recipient of the Bostick Founders Award from SCOLT, University of Alabama’s Teaching in the Disciplines Award, and was the Alabama World Language Association’s Promising New World Language Teacher. Hannah currently serves as the Alabama President of AATSP.

The National Foreign Language Center (NFLC) is a unit of the University of Maryland. For more than three decades, we have focused on partnerships with educational institutions and organizations, governments agencies, organizations, and individual scholars and policy makers. Our primary means of realizing our mission is through strengthening people’s knowledge of world languages, especially those less commonly taught in the United States.
