Kristin is a French and Spanish teacher who has been teaching in Anchorage for over 20 years. She has a passion for expanding her craft to help students connect with each other as they experience the joy and rewards of using another language. She is tremendously grateful for the ongoing sharing and dialogue in the ever-growing number of online professional communities. Kristin presents frequently at local conferences, has served as an AP exam reader, and was the 2019 recipient of the Terry Higley Award for excellence in K-12 world language teaching in the state of Alaska. In her free time, she enjoys travel, gardening, Argentine tango, and exploring Alaskan coastlines by sea kayak.
