Lisa Worthington-Groce, NBCT, has been teaching German for over 17 years and during her time at Northwest Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC, has grown the German program from 65 students to over 330. Lisa was a 2020 ACTFL Teacher of the Year finalist and currently serves on the Boards of both FLANC and SCOLT. Lisa has mentored beginning teachers, participates in a biannual GAPP Exchange to Germany with students, and regularly gives presentations at state and regional conferences.
