Rima Elabdali

Rima Elabdali holds an MA in TESOL from Portland State University and has taught ESL and EFL in a variety of academic and community-based programs since 2011. Her research spans teacher training, language assessment, corpus linguistics, and second language (L2) writing. Rima is currently a Ph.D. student in the Linguistics Department at Georgetown University.

The National Foreign Language Center (NFLC) is a unit of the University of Maryland. For more than three decades, we have focused on partnerships with educational institutions and organizations, governments agencies, organizations, and individual scholars and policy makers. Our primary means of realizing our mission is through strengthening people’s knowledge of world languages, especially those less commonly taught in the United States.
