Tana Luptak is a middle and high school Spanish teacher at Shepherd School District in Montana. She holds a Masters of Education in World Language Instruction from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. She has been teaching for six years. During those six years, Tana also served on the Montana Association of Language Teachers, first as president-elect for two years, president for two years, and past-president for two years. During her time on the MALT board, she initiated many changes and helped improve membership to the organization with the help of her supportive, hardworking board members. Tana presented at WAFLT-COFLT in 2018 and has presented at state conferences in the past. She is passionate about communicative, student-centered language teaching. Tana lives in Shepherd, MT with her husband, Brian, and their one-year-old son, Casen.
